Through the workshop you will learn about the hankie code (including the origins, flagging and cruising culture, and test your knowledge), practice basic embroidery techniques, and have the chance to personalise and take away your very own customised hankie.

Design around us
This 2 part workshop was created to inspire young people to recognise that art is all around us, focusing on the packaging design found in corner shops. The students consider their favourite packaging and pick apart why they like it, while learning about design methodology and design accessibility, going on to create their own art via packaging design.
